Nick and I embarked on a 2-day journey to Palm Springs and Joshua Tree after I graduated from VCUarts in May 2023. I was ecstatic to fly cross-country with one of my favorite photographers to take photos in one of the most beautiful places in America. Joshua Tree made such a unique background for these photos. Although there are gorgeous outdoor locations for photoshoots in RVA, none of them compare to the desert. We met up with my friend and photographer, Amanda Burton (@bellaxtela), and took a few more photos as the sun went down by the pool. Nick and I crashed at an Airbnb and were headed back home the next day. I love traveling so this experience was especially amazing and I hope to take more photos around the world.
