The Future of Fashion

The Task:

Pick a publicly traded retail brand to create a new product line or an extension of a current product line. Present market and consumer research to support the line. Merchandise the product through social commerce and present a comprehensive launch plan.

The Process:

Research: First, I found general information about Abercrombie & Fitch and a competitor in the marketplace. Next, I looked at consumer behavior and retail reports to help me make a social commerce forecast.

Idea Generation: I took inspiration from current trends like long-term partnerships and shop-in-shop ideas. The current fragrance line at Abercrombie has a white space in the target market so I decided it would be beneficial to create a new fragrance line.

The Outcome:

I have strengths in research and writing so it was enjoyable for me to do this project. I love projects that bridge creativity and thinking outside of the box with facts and research. Overall, I liked this project from start to finish. The slide design was fun because I wanted to channel the new Abercrombie & Fitch branding and I feel that I succeeded!
